What it sits next to

Not instead of your photographer. This is for the bit they can’t capture.

Pro or no pro, nobody is standing at table nine at half eleven. Your guests are, so give them something to shoot it on.

Already booked a videographer?

Good — keep them. A wedding videographer averages £1,514 and earns every penny. They’re also one camera, one angle, and packed up by eleven. We’re the rest of the night, from the inside.

At a wedding: one more guestA seat, a meal, a glass: the UK average £272
Ten cameras on your tablesFlash on every one, room for about 5,000 photos, all of them back in one gallery £245

About what one more guest costs, and nothing to do afterwards. Disposables you buy, hand out, gather up, post to a lab and wait... We collect the kit and your gallery lands in your inbox. Five tables rather than ten? That’s five cameras, £170.

What you get back

Every clip, as your guests filmed it.

It all lands in one private gallery, the day the kit gets back to us. Add edited highlights and we cut the best of it into something short you’ll watch again.

  • Guests in a circle round the couple on the dancefloor, filmed by a guest on one of our camcorders
  • The couple under the bride’s veil, filmed by a guest on one of our camcorders
  • A bride dancing under coloured lights, filmed by a guest on one of our camcorders
  • A full dancefloor under changing lights, filmed by a guest on one of our camcorders
  • A bride outside in the sunshine, filmed by a guest on one of our camcorders

What you’re actually wondering

Two questions you’ve already got:

“The room will be pitch dark by nine.”

That’s why disposables come back terrible. Their flash gives up about six feet away, which is roughly the far side of your table.

Every stills camera we send has a proper built-in flash, and it lights a whole table.

“So who’s running this on the day?”

Whoever you want. You’re in control of all of it. We just make sure none of it lands on you at 1am.

  • → You pick who puts them out. Usually whoever’s setting the tables. A card on each one tells guests what it is.
  • → You pick who boxes them up. Everything goes back in the cases it came in, lids shut, done.
  • → You pick where we collect from. One address out, any address back, because nobody’s at the venue the next morning.
What you hire

Hard cases. Everything in them, charged and checked.

Neither of these has a screen on the back, which is the whole point: nobody stands there reviewing a shot, they just take the next one. No apps, no accounts, nothing to set up.

What we cover

Knocks and spills are on us.

Cameras get handled at a wedding. That’s what they’re for, and we don’t charge for accidental damage or normal wear.

“Every case is packed, charged and checked on my office table before it goes out. Email us and I’m who replies, usually the same day.”

The things people ask first.

Is this only for weddings?

No. Weddings are most of what we do, but the kit doesn’t know where it is: birthdays, hen and stag dos, work parties, anniversaries. If there are people and tables, it works.

We’ve already got a photographer.

Perfect. They get the formal bits; we get table nine at half eleven. Different job. The two don’t overlap, they add up.

Everyone’s got a phone though.

And you’ll see almost none of it. Those photos live in two hundred camera rolls. Ours all come back to us and land in one gallery that’s yours, and nobody’s holding a screen up in your pictures.

What about a disposable camera app?

An app costs less and collects less. The photos only exist if a guest downloads something, signs in, and then remembers to use it — and the ones who don’t bother are usually the ones you most wanted pictures from: your parents’ friends, the table at the back, anyone past their second drink. A camera sitting on the table needs no account, no signal and no explaining. Ours has no screen either, so nobody stops to check the shot before passing it on.

So it’s disposable cameras, but digital?

That’s a fair way to put it, minus the parts that go wrong. Same idea — a camera on every table, guests shoot it themselves — but these are reusable, they have a proper flash, and there are about 500 shots in each rather than 27. Nothing gets posted to a lab, nothing comes back blank, and you don’t find out weeks later that half of them didn’t take.

When do we get it all?

Your gallery goes live the day the kit lands back with us. We collect the day after your event and it’s a day or two in transit, so that’s usually two or three days after the day itself. If you added edited highlights, they follow about a week later.

How many cameras do we need?

One camera per table. Five tables, five cameras. Ten tables, ten. Build the exact number you need. More than that, ask us.

What if something gets broken?

Knocks and spills are on us. That’s what the kit is for. We only charge for kit that doesn’t come back: £60 a camera, £150 a camcorder. Same numbers as the hire terms.

Can we change where you collect from?

Yes, and most people do. We post to one address; we’ll collect from whichever one you’ll actually be at. Just tell us.

What does it cost to add more?

The Photo Only Pack is £170 for five cameras, and extra cameras are £15 each. Camcorders are £75 each, and edited highlights are £130. Everything else — posting it out, collecting it, your gallery — is in the one price.
